The Pick of the week… (15th Oct 2013)

Hello All, It’s Tuesday which means its time for the top ten picks…

1. Citizen Khan S2Ep3 (Friday 9:30pm) BBC One

This family sitcom from Adil Ray is proving to win me over as it contains plenty of laughs all round. Amjad goes for a health check in this week’s episode.

2. The Wrong Mans Ep.4 (Tuesday 9pm) BBC Two

More Cliffhanger comedy thrills from Matthew Baynton and James Corden as Scarlett sends Sam and Phil on a mission to retrieve a music box! Cannot wait, this series is growing on me. I Love it!

3. Man Down S1Ep1 (Friday 9:30pm) Channel 4

Brand New Channel 4 Comedy, Written By and Starring Greg Davies, who is most well known for playing Mr Gilbert in the smash hit sitcom, The Inbetweeners. Anyway this new sitcom shows a lot of potential and it begins its six week run this friday as Greg plays a man called Dan who has crushing flaws, an unwanted teaching job and uniquely dysfunctional friends.

4. Mount Pleasant S3Ep6 (Wednesday 9pm) Sky Living

After last week’s psycho of Lisa walking out on Dan, will they be able to re-kindle their marriage?

5. Trollied S3Ep9 (Thursday 9pm) Sky One

Even more supermarket comedy from the fictional store of Valco. Richard France pulls out all the stops for the big reopening, booking a celebrity shopper in the form of Kelly Brook. An unimpressed Gavin, meanwhile, crosses the line.

6. Karl Pilkington: The Moaning of Life S1Ep1 (Sunday 9pm) Sky One

This brand new and exclusive Sky1 series from the star of An Idiot Abroad gets off a start this week. Whilst, some may not regard it as a comedy, I do as it is infact a travel documentary but Karl’s Wisdom and moaning really does provide lots of laughs. I have already seen this first episode, check out my review in the above post! The TV broadcast though, is sunday night at 9pm on Sky1.

7. Celebrity Juice S10Ep8 (Thursday 10pm) ITV2

The 10th Series of Keith Lemon’s madcap panel show continues and this week it’s an X Factor Special, with guests including Louis Walsh.

8. 8 Out of 10 Cats S16 Ep3 (Friday 9pm) Channel 4

More from Series 16 of the panel show hosted by Jimmy Carr with team captains Sean Lock and Jon Richardson. With guests: Miles Jupp, Henning Wehn and the rather lovely Helen Flanagan.

9. QI SKEp7 Knowledge (Friday 10pm) BBC Two

With Guests Jimmy Carr, Graham Linehan and Jo Brand.

10. Some Girls S2Ep4 (Monday 10pm) BBC Three

Series 2 of this sitcom continues…
